How we met

Arianna and Adam’s story began long before they met, for years sharing spaces at music events, crossing paths without ever realizing it.

In 2016, Arianna went to one of Adam’s events with friends. Afterward, flipping through the event photos, Adam stopped on a picture of her and thought, “Who is that girl?” He had no idea he’d just gotten his first look at his future wife. In a full-circle moment, the same photographer who took that photo will be shooting their wedding.

A year later, they finally met. They spent the whole weekend talking, laughing, and dancing. The connection was obvious, but the timing wasn’t right, and it wasn’t until 2018, at another of Adam’s events, that they reconnected and everything clicked. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

In the years since, their love has taken them around the world and through every season of life, music and dance staying at the heart of it all. They’ve built a life together, and there’s no better way to start this next chapter than surrounded by the people they love most.

The proposal

A trip to Colorado gave Adam his chance. Their friend MJ, a wildlife photographer, had been trying for ages to get the two of them out on a sunrise hike - and Adam, no fan of mornings, always found a reason to pass. This time, Arianna talked him into it. A couple of days later the three of them drove up to Maroon Bells.

MJ said he just wanted a photo before the hike. He set Arianna on a rock, framed the shot, and waited for the light. She had no idea. At one point she turned to Adam and said, “This would’ve been the perfect place to propose.” He kept a straight face and told her the ring wasn’t ready yet.

Then the sun came over the peaks, MJ nodded, and Adam started to talk. She realized what was happening halfway through - and said yes.
